There are 118 games in production at Embracer Group studios, 69 of which have not yet been announced. Until March 2021, Biomutant, Chorus, Desperados III, a remake of Destroy All Humans, MotoGP 20, Ride 4 and Wasteland 3 will be released. This was announced by the head of Embracer Group Lars Vingefors in the financial report.
According to Wingerfors, the first AAA games of Embracer Group since the release of Metro Exodus will be released in the 2021 fiscal year — it will be held from April 2021 to March 2022. After that, the company will release AAA titles every year.
Embracer Group includes five operating groups-THQ Nordic, Koch Media / Deep Silver, Amplifier Game Invest, Coffee Stain, and Saber Interactive. In total, the Embracer Group owns more than 30 studios and 160 franchises, including Saints Row, Metro, Darksiders, Dead Island and Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Based on Cuphead will release a novel with illustrations
Game Studio MDHR announced an illustrated novel based on Cuphead called In a Mountain of Trouble. The events of the book will focus on Caphead, Magman, and Miss Chalice, who went to a summer camp where they encountered “trouble”.
The author will be Ron Bates. Previously, he released the first novel on the game called Cuphead in Carnival Chaos. The book In a Mountain of Trouble will include 20 unique illustrations, as well as a quest to find treasures.
Cuphead is a platformer whose graphics are made in the style of the first Disney works. The authors drew each element of the game manually, which took about seven years. The average rating of the title on Metacritic is 88 out of 100 from journalists and 8.2 out of 10 from users.
In the first quarter of 2020 Metro Exodus brought the publisher €14 million
